The Canadian Sponsorship Forum is a unique event that travels the country showcasing the best in Canadian sponsorship stories.
The Canadian Sponsorship Forum is an event that should not be missed by anyone engaged in Canada’s sponsorship industry. Not only will you hear Canada’s most accomplished sponsorship professionals speak, but you will experience unfettered, hands-on access to a major Canadian sponsorship success story. On top of all that you will network with the cream of our industry’s crop. Agencies, properties, researchers, educators, suppliers and corporate Canada all flock to the Forum for a chance to connect and re-connect.

In June of 2011, partnered with Octane Racing Group Inc., the Canadian Sponsorship Forum raced into Montréal with the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada. Delegates felt the emotion as the heart of Montréal beat from sunrise to sunset and beyond, to the rhythm of the city’s busiest weekend of the year. Taking in lessons on how to rev up your ROI by day, and exploring everything the vibrant city has to offer by night, delegates roared through an agenda unlike any other. From keynote presentations and ROI sessions, to strategy workshops and unparalleled networking opportunities, delegates of the 2011 Forum were graced with the invaluable experience of learning from, and sharing ideas with the industry’s top decision makers and thought-leaders.
Together, over 300 of Canada’s sponsorship marketing elite partook in a weekend filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Learning how the internationally renowned men’s health charity came to be, from Mr. Movember himself, Adam Garone; being taken inside the Formula 1 Grand Prix with a private track tour; and topping off the weekend with the best seats in house, in a private VIP tent at the legendary race; are all just some examples of what made the 2011 Canadian Sponsorship Forum, the biggest and best to date.

In March 2010, we descended on the majestic mountains of Whistler, BC to join our partners, the Canadian Paralympic Committee, for the final weekend of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. With the theme of Building Sponsorship Equity, delegates were immersed in an unparalleled agenda featuring 40 industry leaders. The 2010 Forum format included the introduction of new learning platforms such as hands-on Business of Sponsorship tutorials, moderated discussion rooms and interactive strategy sessions. Networking events included taking delegates up the gondola to the peak of Whistler Mountain for a dinner reception at the Roundhouse Lodge, a live Alpine Ski Visually Impaired Medal Event, watching the Sledge Hockey Final from the IPC House and the grand finale of the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony. Not only did we take delegates inside the Games –16 Paralympic athletes joined us to share inspirational stories and mingle with delegates for a truly authentic, Canadian event. A surprise appearance and moving speech by John Furlong, CEO of VANOC, topped of this unmatched event, taking the Forum to new levels of inspiration and motivation.
