We could have called this the Pre-Forum Cocktail Reception – but what fun is that? They say that the early bird gets the worm – and the drinks! For those early-arriving delegates to the 2012 Canadian Sponsorship Forum on Tuesday, July 24, head down to Le Westin Montréal’s Reporters Lounge to enjoy some drinks before the Forum officially gets underway. Catch up with old friends, share a few laughs and make some new connections – this is the place to get settled, and into the spirit of the Just for Laughs Festival and the Canadian Sponsorship Forum.
Wednesday, July 25:
Eat, Drink and Be Merry: Dinner Reception in Old Montréal
Wine and dine with us at the historic L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel, the oldest inn in North America. This rustic, yet glamourous, hotspot – located in Old Montréal and within walking distance of Le Westin – has earned a reputation as one of the top restaurants in the area, and has three separate floors to explore. Delegates will enjoy an evening filled with French cuisine and get to see why the Canadian Sponsorship Forum is known for its unparalleled networking opportunities, while soaking in the ambiance of one of Old Montréal’s best eateries. Following dinner, delegates are invited to join us at Club Velvet, set in the basement of L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel. With its speakeasy-feel, and cave-like corridors, Club Velvet offers delegates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy themselves in one of Montréal’s most popular nightclub destinations.

Laugh it Off: An Evening With Just For Laughs
Find out how it all comes together – delegates will be taken behind the scenes at Just for Laughs for an exclusive backstage tour and insider’s view to the preparations that help make the Just for Laughs Festival a truly memorable and passionate experience. It’s not all fun and games, you know (OK, maybe it is), because the activations are engaging and the one-of-a-kind learning experiences will stay with you forever. Explore the Just For Laughs venue at the famed Place des Arts, home of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and the Opéra de Montréal – and maybe even meet a famous comedian or two. And if after all that, your stomach isn’t sore from laughing too much, delegates will be treated to dinner and drinks at a VIP tent on the grounds. Finally, delegates will attend a Just for Laughs gala show – the perfect end to a comedy-filled night.
